Gina Fioravanti is a 2003 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics with a minor in Social Psychology. Ms. Fioravanti practiced as a forensic chemist and has been called an expert witness in controlled substances in the State of Delaware. She is also a 2014 graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, following in her father’s footsteps.
Ms. Fioravanti comes to the firm after having practiced with the St. Mary’s County Office of the Public Defender where she handled a variety of criminal and traffic cases. She later worked for the State’s Attorney’s Office in St. Mary’s County as the Domestic Violence Prosecutor but also handled a caseload including theft, assault, driving under the influence, drugs and others. Ms. Fioravanti has a unique ability to handle cases involving controlled substances and driving under the influence with her background in forensics. Her other interests include animal rights and protective orders.
She has lived in St. Mary’s County for seven years and has a dedicated interest in the Southern Maryland community. Originally from Delaware and then raised in Virginia, Ms. Fioravanti has decided to put down roots in Southern Maryland and fight for the community, the stakeholders and its residents. She strongly believes that all individuals deserve a voice and their day in court.
